Posted on March 6, 2024

The POSEIDON project proudly announces significant advancements in its mission to combat corruption within European ports. Following the successful completion of our fourth Study Visit at the Port of Rotterdam, we are thrilled to unveil the remarkable outcomes.

During the visit, several representatives from the LEAs and the port authorities presented the threats and vulnerabilities within the port supply chain as well as the measures and strategies taken into account to address these challenges.

In addition to insightful discussions, participants enjoyed a hands-on experience through a walking tour of the Port of Rotterdam, providing invaluable insights into the practical implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing port security and efficiency.

POSEIDON project continues to promote collaboration between port stakeholders and law enforcement agencies to uphold the integrity of our ports, ensuring safety and security and creating a more transparent and accountable maritime system.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue our journey towards combating corruption and promoting integrity within European ports with the POSEIDON.
